NASH AIMS TO WRITE HIS OWN NAME IN BAY HISTORY

THEY wrote their names into English football’s history books by becoming the first club to retain a national cup competition at the new Wembley, writes MARK CARRUTHERS.
But they didn’t just do that once, they went and won the FA Vase in three consecutive years.
Indeed, they are the most successful club in the competition’s history, with four final wins in total.
Today, Ebac Northern League club Whitley Bay are a very different side to the one that made Wembley Stadium their home between 2009 and 2011. Those sides were laden with experience and knowhow.
