IN REGARDS to Alex Narey’s editorial (NLP, December 10) with reference to postponements, we had the misfortune yesterday to suffer from TWO late cancellations!
Having travelled 80 miles from Leeds to watch Easington Colliery in Northern League Division 2, we only set off after seeing a tweet from the club confirming the game was definitely on and even showing a picture of the pitch – this game was postponed at approximately 2pm.
Undeterred, we continued up the coast to Seaham FC after seeing their game was still on – their game was postponed at 2.55pm!
