Diamonds are forever friendly

AS A seasoned groundhopper, I took in AFC Rushden & Diamonds versus Kempston Rovers at Hayden Road, Rushden on Boxing Day – and was delighted that I did!
Diamonds were the deserved 3-1 winners on the day thanks to a cracking hat-trick coming from Ryan Robbins.
I just wanted to write and say how friendly the fans and supporters were, in particular the big chap that worked in the turnstile (I think his name was Matt).
He was incredibly polite and friendly – an asset to the club and also a great advert for fan-owned clubs and Non-League football in general. I’ll definitel...
