DALE’S DONE AT HINCKLEY

TAMWORTH legend Dale Belford has quit as manager of Midland League Division One club Hinckley AFC – despite winning eight of his 12 games in charge.
The 50-year-old former Atherstone Town, Tamworth and Rugby Town boss, who took over in October, cited personal reasons for his decision.
Also leaving the club will be his son, former Swindon Town goalkeeper Ty Belford, who was voted player of the month in November.
Belford said: “I’m disappointed that my tenure has had to come to an end so soon, but I’ve enjoyed my short spell at the club.
