Clubs paying price for postponements

MYclub Slough Town are seven games behind teams in the Southern Premier. Some are due to good runs in the FA Cup and FA Trophy, others are due to the postponements of away games on so-called grass pitches.
Recent games that have been affected have been dubious to say the least, although they are not the best of pitches. Our game at St Ives was called off at 10am (which is fair enough to the travelling side), but some of the supporters who went there said it was in better condition than last year’s game.
