Decision smacks of southern bias

I CANNOTunderstand the logic of the FA refusing the request of the Northern League to integrate more into the pyramid.
I think everyone would agree that it is better than Step 5, the area covered from Cumbria, Northumberland, Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire will be vastly greater than any other Step 4 league in the new set-up next season, yet is not afforded the same benefits.
Morpeth, who look like winning the league, will be forced to take promotion and find an extra £35,000 to cover costs, so instead of a money-spinning local derby with Ashington, they could well be making a 4...
