STRUGGLING New Mills AFC should take heart (NLP, January 28).
Not so long ago, their dubious title of “the worst team in England” was held by Tunstall Town FC, perennially bottom of the Staffs County Senior League Division Two.
Now, as OSSMA Blurton TTFC, they sit unbeaten at the top of Division 1 with a goal difference of +44, and gunning for promotion to the Premier Division.
