TAUNT & HAUNTED

I’VE just returned from another great g roundhopping trip with three weeks travelling around watching football in England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
The only blip; a long trip to Somerset to see Frome Town play Taunton Town in a league cup game – only to be told on arrival that the game had just been called off as the visitors incredibly ‘couldn’t raise a team’.
If this kind of nonsense goes unpunished, the Southern League will prove itself a joke, which I might have to avoid in the future.
