CHESTER’S financial crisis seems to have been averted – for the time being at least – with a star-studded charity game on Thursday night boosting the survival fund to £75,000.
The likes of Michael Owen, Ian Rush and Jason McAteer all laced up their boots with a crowd of 2,080 braving the cold at the Swansway to support the Blues’ cause.
