GROUND FORCE TO THE RESCUE!

NORTHERN LEAGUE secretary Kevin Hewitt has paid tribute to the work done by ground staff around their clubs during the last two months.
The wintry weather conditions – some of the worst in recent times the Non-League Pyramid has had to contest with – have had a severe impact on the league’s fixtures and it is Hewitt’s job to reschedule postponed games.
The season has already been extended to an extra week, and will now finish on Saturday, May 5 when Marske United entertain Newcastle Benfield in a clash between two clubs who have been heavily hit by...
