DEACON TURNING HEADS, AGED 16

TALENTED goalkeeper Luke Deacon has been raising eyebrows in the Wessex Premier League after making his debut for Brockenhurst aged just 16.
The youngster starred in the Badgers 2-2 draw with high-flying Hamworthy United last weekend.
Deacon made a string of fine saves to keep the promotion hunters at bay before Brockenhurst took the lead in the first-half.
Then the visitors doubled their lead early in the second period with Deacon, who is the great grandson of former Portsmouth chairman John Deacon, continuing to thwart Hamworthy.
