THE MOANS of Premier League managers about congested fixture schedules always raises a laugh in Non-League circles.
North West Counties League side 1874 Northwich have been getting plenty of exposure for their remarkable pile-up that sees 23 games in 30 days.
Droylsden defender Alex Frost made the point on twitter during the week that player welfare should come into consideration. He’s bang on. Part-time players shouldn’t be playing that much football in such a short space of time.
It’s not healthy.
