WOKING LIFELINE IS SHEER DELIGHT

SHEERWATER have been handed a lifeline by National League neighbours Woking.
The high-riding Cherry Red Combined Counties Division One outfit have signed a two-year deal to play their home games just over two miles away from their Surrey base at Woking’s Lathwaite Community Stadium.
Fears had been founded about the future of Sheerwater because of redevelopment plans for their Woking Athletic Ground in Blackmore Crescent.
Club officials were concerned that they would lose their Step 6 status pending their move to a new ground at Bishop David Brown School in 2020.
