Feeling Blue after play-offs

EVERY year it seems there is a club who is struck down by the dreaded curse of the playoffs – this year it’s my club Frickley Athletic.
Finishing no fewer than 11 points clear of Stamford, our excellent season came to an abrupt end on Tuesday night when the Blues went down 2-1 at home to the Daniels in our Play-Off Semi-Final.
What makes it worse is that we were only denied an automatic promotion place from Evo-Stik South by virtue of having three points deducted back in February for fielding an ineligible player.
