PATIENCE KEY FOR BISHOPS TOP JOB

IT was a case of second time lucky for Ian Chandler after he was named as new manager of Northern League Division One club Bishop Auckland.
The four-time FA Vase winner was appointed as Two-Blues boss on Thursday, 16 months after narrowly missing out on the job.
Bishops chairman Nick Postma admitted the former Whitley Bay manager had always been in his thoughts when the club considered replacing former boss Colin Myers and he was delighted to finally get his man.
“He was an excellent candidate a year ago when we interviewed him,” said Postma.
