MONTY OFF TO ROVERS

GATESHEAD goalkeeper James Montgomery has made the step up into League 2 by signing for Forest Green Rovers.
The 24-year-old joins on a free transfer from the National League side after putting pen to paper on a two-year-contract.
Montgomery made 34 appearances for the Tynesiders, keeping 12 clean sheet.
The Middlesbrough academy product made his England C debut last year.
