NICE article in last Sunday’s NLP from Gregor Robertson, looking at what lies ahead for relegated Chesterfield.
If Chesterfield need to take any inspiration, they need to look at how Lincoln City approached the challenge of getting back into the Football League and it would appear that new boss Martin Allen is recruiting wisely by bringing in players who are fit for Non-League football, rather than EFL showponies.
Mind you, it did take Lincoln a few seasons to wake up to the challenge.
