OSWELL’S A CATCH FOR SHRIMPERS

STOCKPORT COUNTY player of the season Jason Oswell will be a Football League player from August after signing for League Two Morecambe.
The 25-year-old striker has had a host of clubs watching him for his 29 goals in 47 appearances for the Hatters last term. Shrimpers boss Jim Bentley has tied him to a two-year deal and is confident the former Inverness, Rhyl and Newtown man can make the step up.
Bentley told Morecambe’s website: „Jason is proven to be a top goalscorer and now with full-time football we are confident he will do it at Football League level.”...
