SCHOLES FAILS TO INSPIRE VICTORY

COMEBACK: Paul Scholes

MANCHESTER UNITED and England legend Paul Scholes came out of retirement last weekend at the age of 43 with Royton Town.
The Manchester Football League side were short of numbers for their clash with Stockport Georgians so manager Mark Howard called in a favour.
Scholes, capped 66 times by England, laced up his boots once more to help out Royton, who his son Arron plays for. However, the twotime Champions League winner was unable to inspire Town to a win as they lost 1-0.
