JACK’S POPPED UP

FORMER Redhill Under 18s boss Jack Stevens has been placed in charge of struggling St Francis Rangers.
Initially on a caretaker basis, Stevens replaces Simon Boddie, who parted company with the Southern Combination Division One basement side after they lost 3-1 to Steyning Town. The defeat left St Francis with just one win from their opening six games.
Boddie, who joined the club at the start of the 2016/17 season, posted on social media: “Sorry to announce that I have parted company with St Francis Rangers FC. Not because of results, albeit they haven’t gone to plan.”
