1874 Northwich are set to move closer to home next season after signing a two-year groundshare agreement with Barnton.
The North West Counties Premier side were formed by fans as a breakaway club from Northwich Victoria in 2012 and have led a nomadic existence, playing home games at Winsford United’s St Luke’s Barton Stadium. Barnton play in a village near Northwich and will initially host the club for two years which has the option to be extended should both clubs wish to.
