■AN EXCELLENT team display saw Winchester achieve their first-ever win against Cirencester Town and reach the fourth qualifying round for the first time in over 60 years.
They opened the scoring in the second minute when Cirencester goalkeeper Matt Wieczorek couldn’t hold a Reece Rusagr free-kick and Rob Carr was alert to score.
It became 2-0 in the 21st minute when Tyrell Mitford set up Simba Mlambo and Winchester’s task was made easier when Michael Pook received a straight red card for a tackle on Rusagr.
