A matchday programme every month

FOLLOWING on from Alan Thomas’s letter (Fans Forum, September 30) how about this for an idea?
Why not just produce a monthly magazine which could cover two or three home games, and include a single page team sheet for each relevant game?
In the past, clubs have often produced double header programmes in pre-season or over the Christmas/Easter holiday periods to save printing cost, so why not extend this idea over the full season?
I would hate to see the demise of the football programme – maybe it’s time to try something new?
