IT’S fair to say that Richard Thomas’s tenure as new manager of Grantham Town did not get off to the best of starts this week.
Just 24 hours after being appointed to the Gingerbreads hotseat following the departure of Ian Culverhouse, Thomas crashed to a crushing 7-0 defeat at Matlock Town on Tuesday night; a result which has given the new boss plenty of food for thought.
