AFC Liverpool are in mourning following the shock sudden death of popular joint manager Ben Williams.
Ben, 41, died on Tuesday afternoon, hours before the club’s North West Counties Division One North game against Cleator Moor Celtic. No cause of Ben’s death has yet been given, but heart problems were suspected.
The game was postponed at the 11th hour, while AFC Liverpool also arranged for yesterday’s game against Vauxhall Motors to be put back.
