Bluebirds swoop tue for new owners

BARROW have swiftly resolved their change of ownership within a month of former owner Paul Casson stepping away.
The American businessman brought his four-year reign at the Bluebirds to an end last month, but chairman Paul Hornby has quickly put together a new structure at the club.
The National League side are now owned by a locally-based consortium which also includes the Bluebirds Supporters Trust, who hold a ten per cent stake.
Three new investors, Tony Shearer, Mark Hetherington and Kristian Wilkes, have come on board with Hornby remaining part of the new regime.
