CHARLIE Kendall scored the only goal of the game as Heybridge Swifts sparked a title race with victory against tabletoppers Bowers & Pitsea.
Kendall tapped home in the second half after some strong work by former Bowers man Luke Wilson, closing the gap at the top of the table between the two to just four points.
