Stourbridge, who held top spot before kick-off, looked like extending their advantage when Leon Broadhurst fired them in front 15 minutes from time, only for Brett Solkhon to restore parity ten minutes later.
But just when the 1,734 crowd seemed to settle for a point, sub Tom Knowles popped up to snatch all three for the Poppies.
