Stop harping on! 3G is the future

I FEEL I had to reply to comments made about 3G pitches, mentioned recently in The NLP.
I’m totally fed up with people harping on about the ‘good old days’ and about how great it is to watch your team play on worn out, sodden, muddy pitches. There are so many teams struggling to keep going these days.
As a Sutton United supporter who has spent many years standing on the terraces and watching my team play on grass at Gander Green Lane, it was fantastic to get the news that Sutton were to benefit from a 3G pitch.
