Trevor was a legend of the game

I WAS very sorry to hear of the death of Trevor Parker.
I remember him best of all for the spell he had as Eastleigh manager from 1999 to 2002, but it is worth noting that he also managed Millbrook and Maybush, AFC Totton, Fareham Town, Basingstoke Town, Bashley, Poole Town, Brockenhurst and New Milton Town.
He is probably best remembered for leading Fareham Town to the FA Trophy in 1987 where, en route, they achieved splendid away victories against Scarborough and Barnet, and leading them to fourth place in the Southern League Premier Division in 1991-92 (they at one stage led the table) w...
