Let’s not glorify game’s bigwigs

I’M writing to commend The NLP in getting so much match information turned around in time for me to eagerly pick up my copy every Sunday. It’s a minor miracle and I wouldn’t be without it.
However, I do have a complaint. Contrary to your editor’s opinion, I believe there is far too much coverage of Salford City and their millionaire backers.
The recent multi-page fawning over David Beckham’s arrival as backer being the latest example (NLP, January 27).
