Emergency Ward steps in for Bulls

WED 6 ASSISTANT manager Mark Ward has agreed to step up and take charge of AFC Mansfield following the departure of Rudy Funk last weekend.
Funk, the former Scarborough Athletic boss, mutually agreed to end his four-year stint in charge with the Bulls currently sitting in the Evo-Stik League East Division relegation zone
Ward joined the club in the 2014-15 season as a player and returned in 2016 as No.2 to Funk after joining from Handsworth Parramore, where he had also been assistant boss.
