Glad the Gate isn’t shut on Saunders

IT’S GOOD to see Jay Saunders isn’t too ‘big time’ to return to management two levels lower than he left – not every manager would do that.
Margate must be very pleased to get someone of his calibre and who knows how to get a club up the leagues.
I always felt he was harshly done by at Maidstone having taken them from Step 4 to the National League – and quickly too. Such is football.
