Hitchin in pay back

HITCHIN TOWN have pledged to donate money made from a betting advert on their website to charity following fans’ criticism.
The club was one of 18 selected by the Southern League to advertise for potential sponsors over a six-week trial period.
Following a backlash from fans, the Canaries will donate the fee to a suitable and worthy charity.
The club said: “This is the most positive gesture we can make.”
