DUO EXIT NEEDED TO KEEP BAY ALIVE

CASH-STRAPPED Herne Bay say the sales this week of two of their first-team stars have ensured they can fulfil their Bostik South East fixtures this term.
The Kent club told of the club’s precarious financial situation after top scorer Jake Embery signed for Maidstone United and Tom Carlton joined Hythe Town.
