FORMER Herne Bay chief Simon Halsey is to take over as the new manager of Southern Counties East outfit Hollands & Blair.
Seasoned boss Halsey, who has previously managed Whitstable and Lordswood, led Herne Bay to the title seven years ago in the old Kent League, leading them up to Step 4 for the first time.
He was appointed at Star Meadow after last Saturday’s 3-0 home win over Rusthall ensured safety from relegation after a difficult season.
