RAIDERS FINALLY GET THE TITLE OK

WORCESTER Raiders were this week confirmed as champions – after the FA decided that they were not responsible for the abandonment of a game.
Raiders – the biggest Pyramid club in Worcester with Step 5 City groundsharing at Bromsgrove – finished top of the table a point ahead of Darlaston Town in Division One of the West Midlands (Regional) League, with both clubs being promoted.
But Darlaston argued that Raiders should have not been given three points by the league following the abandonment of a game on March 19.
