ALAN DOWSON is a sucker for a charitable cause – he’s even sold his promotion medal!
The Woking boss kindly offered to auction off his National League South play-off winners medal from last season to Woking Hospice – and promptly raised a cool £1,200!
Phil Wormley, Fundraising Director of Woking and Sam Beare Hospices said: “We sincerely thank and appreciate all of the supporters who bid for the medal, particularly our winning bidder who will remain anonymous.
“Very many thanks of course to Dowse for an incredibly kind gesture....
