ON THE MOVE: Jason Gilchrist has joined South Shields

JOINT boss Lee Picton reckons South Shields have landed a coup in striker Jason Gilchrist.
The 24-year-old was the National League North’s top scorer when playing for Southport in the 2017-18 season, when he netted 26 times.
And last season he helped Stockport County to the league title after enjoying a positive temporary spell at Edgeley Park.
Now, the former Manchester City and Burnley trainee has committed his future to the ambitious BetVictor Northern Premier League Mariners, and Picton is delighted to welcome him on ...
