LOSS: Charlie Slocombe

HEARTBROKEN Tonbridge Angels are mourning the loss of Charlie Slocombe after he collapsed while playing football and later died.
The former Angels defender, 26, had been taking part in a sixa- side game on Monday evening when he collapsed.
The popular Slocombe was quickly transferred to Kings College Hospital and put on a life support machine, but sadly passed away on Tuesday afternoon.
In a statement, Tonbridge said: “Taken from us far too young, Charlie was a popular player at the club who was involved in both the reserve and first team sides.
