MARK CLIFFORD had to endure a rather frantic few days after being handed the Ilkeston manager’s job on Tuesday.
But the former Basford United assistant, who is a highly regarded figure at Ilkeston after enjoying a successful playing career with the Robins, is already excited by the rush of first team management.
“It has been a bit mad so far!” laughed Clifford, after replacing Lee Fowler in the New Manor Ground hotseat.
