BLACKBURN Rovers and Sunderland are understood to be leading the chase for Nantwich Town starlet Joe Malkin.
The 21-year-old scored 11 goals last season as he won the NPL Premier Division Young Player of the Year.
The 6ft 4ins forward, who is the son of former Tranmere Rovers striker Chris, is being monitored by a number of clubs with Championship club Blackburn and League One outfit Sunderland weighing up offers.
