CHIEF: Gary Alexander

FORMER Millwall and Leyton Orient striker Gary Alexander has been appointed as manager of Southern Counties East Premier Division outfit Glebe.
Alexander, 40, who also played for Brentford, Exeter City, Hull City, Swindon Town, AFC Wimbledon, Crawley Town and Burton Albion, was sacked as manager of Ashford United last November. He has also managed Greenwich Borough and had a spell in joint charge of Crawley on a caretaker basis.
At Chislehurst-based Glebe, he replaces Peter Sweeney who stepped down when he returned from holiday earlier this month after just 23 games...
