DENTON DEVASTED BY TIGERS DEPARTURE

CRAIG DENTON says he is “devastated and hugely taken aback” after his shock departure from Worksop Town this week. Under Denton, the reformed Tigers claimed NCEL league and cup glory last term and he leaves the club sitting mid-table in the Northern Premier League’s Division One South East.
Denton cites disagreements with the club’s hierarchy for making his position untenable.
“I’m absolutely devastated and really upset with the decision I had to make,” he told The NLP.
