Firefighter Frecklington installed

NEW Frickley Athletic manager Dave Frecklington has been experiencing a touch of déjà vu following his appointment this week.
Frecklington, who sat in the stands as The Blues fell to a 6-0 thrashing at Sheffield FC on Tuesday, is now in an almost identical position to the one he found himself in last season. Almost 12 months ago to the day the former midfielder was handed the managerial role at Matlock Town with the Gladiators stranded in the Northern Premier League’s Premier Division relegation zone.
