YORK have fallen a long way down the ladder in recent years, but they’re flying in National League North now. Steve Watson is doing a brilliant job and their main goal this season will undoubtedly be to get back into Non-League’s top flight. However, York would also love an FA Cup run. They’ve been handed a tricky tie at North West Counties League side Irlam in the second qualifying round next weekend.
It’s a big game for Irlam, but it’s just as big a game for York. Everyone in Non- League is desperate for a Cup run.
