SATURDAY’S only all National South tie saw Eastbourne Borough progress at the expense of Tonbridge Angels.
The first period was seriously low on goalmouth action, with a lack of urgency from the hosts. But a seventh minute Angels cross from Jack Rudoni led to the breakthrough when it found Khale da Costa and he was brought down inside the box having beaten his marker.
