CUP hungry Tavy flew the Western League’s flag with pride as they crushed Southern League Highworth Town to continue their impressive FA Cup and FA Vase form.
The visitors were up against it inside 20 minutes, already a goal down and missing Jordan Roberts after he was carried off as the Devon side went for the jugular.
Visiting keeper Connor Johns had been forced to tip over a glancing header from one of his own defenders before Dan Evans nodded home on seven minutes. At the other end, Josh Oak tipped over an Ash Edenborough drive.
