DUNSTON came out on top in a tough FA Cup Second Round Qualifying tie at the Marine Travel Arena, goals from Liam Brooks and Michael Pearson bettering a Niall Cummins penalty.
Brooks put the visitors in the lead two minutes before half-time as Dunston edged a cagey first half, but Marine were gifted a way back into the match when French defender Aboubacar Gassama, making his full debut, was felled in the box on 52 minutes.
Michael Hall was booked, and Marine captain Cummins converted from the spot, but Dunston were ahead again just four minutes later through...
