STAINES TOWN have suspended manager Anthony Gale after he was convicted of assaulting a woman.
The Isthmian League Division One South Central’s Swans issued a statement on social media announcing his suspension pending an internal investigation after the former Walton Casuals boss admitted assault on Christmas Eve 2018 in Weybridge in an incident not linked to football. Gale, 35, also assaulted the same woman on February 15 and March 25 this year, the court heard.
